Since 1993

Our story

More than three decades of Argentinian tradition, warm hospitality and a passion for charcoal grilling in the heart of Fuengirola.

7 April 1993

The beginning of Poncho's

Fuengirola was the place chosen to begin that adventure: a Mediterranean town where people from many different places come together, and where Poncho's would go on to build its own story.

The grill, the heart of our restaurant

From the very beginning, our charcoal grill has been one of the defining features of the restaurant. Selected cuts, fire, time and craftsmanship: a simple way of cooking where the quality of the ingredients always comes first.

More than three decades around the grill

The tradition continues

Over the years, Poncho's has grown and evolved, but some things remain unchanged: respect for quality ingredients, cooking without rushing, and that distinctly Argentinian way of seeing a meal as something to be shared around a table.

Beef remains at the heart of our menu, accompanied by a selection of Argentinian and Spanish wines, starters such as chorizo criollo and Argentinian-inspired desserts, with dulce de leche among the most distinctive flavours.
